Philly Tagliatelle

I know, I know, it has been WAY too long. I'd like to say it was because I was too lazy to cook and my parents have been feeding me glorious food, day and night, that I don't need to cook. But it's actually because I have a job now, so I am so busy that by the time I get back I don't have any time to make anything! :P Okay, I have to admit, it is also because my parents are cooking all the time so I don't have to ^^ TEHE

Anyway, I have to apologise again because this is going to be my last post before I fly out of the country :D! I know, out of the country again D:?! I am going for work experience purposes, so it's not all fun! Nonetheless, I shall try and see if I have time to blog/vlog of my time there :D

Okay, let's get to the point here. We (Me & Spam) came home from work and felt in need for something fresh to eat. Since getting back we still haven't touched the pasta we brought from Rome, so we grabbed some spring onions, ham, sweetcorn and Philadelphia, creating a creamy, cheesy and beautiful herbal tasting, Philly Tagliatelle n_n It's SO easy, made it within 15 minutes!

Ingredients
Tagliatelle pasta (The real Italian stuff ;D)
Kraft Philadelphia Soft Cream Cheese - (1/3) of the pot
Sweetcorn - As much or as little as you please
Ham - (3) slices cut into smaller slices
Spring Onion - (2) strands
Cravendale Whole Milk

Kitchen Utensils
Chopping Board
Knife
Wok

Cooking time! :)
1) Take your pasta and follow the instructions on the packet - I usually just take my wok, fill it with enough water to cover the pasta and let it boil until the pasta is soft, stirring occasionally. Ours cooked within 5 minutes! So quick :D!

2) Whilst the pasta boils, chop the spring onion and ham into small slices, set that aside.

3) Once the pasta has cooked, strain the pasta and leave it in the strainer as the water drips away in the sink.
4) Set the heat to the lowest setting. Take the spring onion, and stir fry it in the wok for 30 seconds, before adding 1/3 of the Philadelphia. As the Philadelphia melts, add two tablespoons of milk (You can always add more if you want more sauce or if you want it creamier - Spam loves it creamy so we added another 3 - 4 tablespoons of milk as we cooked the Philadelphia ^^)
5) Add the ham, cook for 2 minutes before adding the sweetcorn
6) If you like to mix the sauce together with the pasta, then place the pasta with the sauce and mix well. If not, then just place the cooked pasta on a plate and pour generously with the Philly sauce. Time to eat  :D!

It doesn't look that aesthetically pleasing, but I promise you it is really creamy and yummy ^_^! Such a simple lunch to make too, bonus :D! I do hope that when I get back I'll have more time to cook and blog more often, but I can't guarantee anything, but I will try & I hope you enjoy this for now n_n!

Stay safe & keep smiling,
