Summer Wrap ☼

Summer is FINALLY here! I know the sun has been coming and going, but that doesn't deter the fact that it's summer! ^^ Summer starts as of today, purely because I'm off on holiday tomorrow wheeeeeeeeeee  I am SO excited! :D

So, to celebrate the start of summer, I present you the Summer Wrap! ^^ It is packed full of immense flavour and it actually fills you up for ages! I ate it for breakfast and didn't get hungry until dinner time (5 pm - yahh I eat dinner early xD)

I hope you enjoy this last post before I jet off. But NO FEAR, I shall be blogging about my experience and you get to see the beautiful food I have over there! :) I won't reveal where i'm off to just yet, you guys will have to guess when I get there! :D

Ingredients
Mission Deli Wraps - Mediterranean Herb
Avocado
Mushroom
Morrison's Low Fat Halloumi Cheese
Herta Frankfurter Sausages
Cherry Tomatoes
Oil

Kitchen Utensils
Saucepan
Chopping Board
Knife

Cooking time! :)
1) Take your avocado, cut it in half and scope out the flesh of the avocado into a small bowl.
2) Wash the mushrooms and cut it up into small slices.
3) Chop the sausages into small chunks
4) Slice the cherry tomatoes in half, you can slice as many as you wish ^^
5) Slice the Halloumi Cheese into thin slices - This makes it easier and quicker to cook. Also, since this cheese is pretty salty, it makes it less so. But if you brought the low fat one, like I did, then it isn't very salty at all :)

6) Before any cooking begins, mash the avocado up, so it becomes like a paste - The paste becomes the base of the wrap, to which the other food pieces will sit on.
7) Oil the saucepan, set the hob at low heat, and cook the halloumi cheese for 2 - 3 minutes, each side, or until it goldens.
8) Place the mushrooms into the pan, allowing it to cook for 2 minutes or so, before adding the sausages, again cooking for a minute, lastly, add the cherry tomatoes to the mixture, cooking for 2 minutes, before setting it onto the wrap.
9) Now it's time to wrap away :D, you can wrap it however you wish, placing as much filling as you want! ^^

The great thing about this wrap is there is no need for any extra flavouring, the food itself it packed full of flavour you don't need anything else, which is a bonus, that way you won't have to watch your salt intake! ^^ Cooking in the juices of each food also makes it extra flavoursome, and it means you don't have to use as much oil! :P Also, since the wrap has herbs in it, even less flavouring is required, how perfect is that! :D I hope you enjoy this yummy scrummy Summer Wrap :D Bon Appetit n_n
